YNG MARTYR – “BODYCOUNT”

YNG Martyr, born Seaton Rogers, is an Indigenous Australian rapper from Townsville, Victoria, Australia, who releases “BODYCOUNT,” a single from his new album CHALANT. The track features Florida rapper 1900Rugrat and is produced by REYKO, Joey Barrios, and Trenton Kyle, with an official music video directed by Phelan Davis and inspired by the Halo video game. YNG began recording music at age 15 after being challenged to a rap battle in an online video game chatroom and built early attention by freestyling in Call of Duty lobbies. He gained significant attention in 2019 with the viral single “Nike Ticks,” which has surpassed 100 million global streams, contributing to a catalog that has exceeded 300 million total streams worldwide. YNG Martyr has collaborated with Billy Marchiafava, Riff Raff, and Allday, and has performed at Listen Out, Falls Festival, and Spilt Milk. He signed with Dew Process / Warner Music Australia in 2022, partnered with Call of Duty for a Black Ops 6 campaign, and wrote a song used by Logan Paul as a WWE entrance theme. 1900Rugrat broke through with “One Take Freestyle,” later included on his 2025 project Porch 2 The Pent. Davis is an actor, writer, and director with credits across film and television, including Metal Lords, First Cow, American Vandal, and Portlandia. “BODYCOUNT” comes on the heels of the official visuals for “Since You Been Gone,” also from CHALANT.
