New York producer and recording artist SamTRax releases “Still” featuring Xavier Wright and Bluz, the lead single from his album BLACK CHERRY, Vol. 1, mastered by Jorge “J3M Sound” Marroquin. Haitian American, SAMTRAX founded the indie label forever97 and co-founded the musician collective 1997 DaBand alongside Andrew Dorilas, whose members have performed for Eric B. Turner, Hamzaa, and Jastin Martin. His catalog includes The Valley (2021), the EPs Solèy and Cloud7 (2022), and the single Valdosta (2022), with “Mixed Emotions” surpassing 7 million Spotify streams, “You Are (feat. Amber Olivier)” at 1.9 million, “HOLLOW.” at 1.2 million, and “Valdosta” at over 1 million. He received two nominations at the 67th Grammy Awards for his contributions to Malik Yusuf’s “GOOD M.U.S.I.C. Universe Sonic Cinema: Episode 1: In The Beginning Was The Word” and Chris Redding’s “Visions Of Sounds De Luxe,” produced SiR’s “Nothing Even Matters,” and has collaborated with Erykah Badu, SiR, Brent Faiyaz, Bibi Bourelly, Arin Ray, Ashanti, and Anthony Hamilton. He serves as music consultant for the Tubi series “Send Help” by Jean Elie, and “Still” was featured in Season 2, Episode 8 of “Harlem” on Amazon Prime. BLACK CHERRY, Vol. 1, released August 22, 2025, is a spoken-word-rooted blend of Jazz, Hip-Hop, and R&B uplifting Black women and cultural pride.
