Fresno, California native D-Lansky presents the official music video for “Recession Free”, his new single featuring Mitchy Slick, produced by Sir Veterano. Initially pretending to be a rapper “just to rob other rappers”, the Chicano rapper sold more than 15,000 CD copies of his underground debut Dogs For Life before being discovered on the streets of North Las Vegas by the legendary radio personality Jack Gibson a.k.a. Jack The Rapper. Forming Breadhouse Entertainment after Jack’s untimely death, Lansky went on to release Assault On Precinct America in 2003 and Hood Thugocracy in 2012. Lansky has worked with Def Jam South, Thizz Nation, Gold Chain Music, Mass Appeal, Squeak-Ru, Planet Asia, The Game, Fashawn, Dubee Sugawolf Pimp, Sleepdank, Kinetic 9 and Nino Bless. For the last two decades Mitchy Slick has been one of the foremost hiphop representatives of his hometown of San Diego, recently releasing Everybody Hates Mitch (stream on Youtube), his collaboration album with Sir Veterano, who has been busy producing for Fashawn, MC Eiht, Planet Asia and more. “Recession Free” is out now on Breadhouse.
